Do you have a story idea in your head that you’ve been yearning to put on paper? Do you want to make progress on an existing writing project? Join the Steel Quill Writing Ring! 

It’s led by local award-winning author and journalist, Maria Simbra. Starting September 3, the group will meet for four Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

Participants may submit up to 1,500 words to the group every week, due the Saturday before each meeting. All genres and skill levels are welcome. 

You’ll get organized feedback from the moderator, as well as from your peers. It’s feedback, support, camaraderie, and most of all, fun.
